Soulfully Yours Ceremonies – Terms & Conditions

1. About Me

Soulfully Yours Ceremonies provides bespoke, heartfelt ceremonies for weddings, vow renewals, naming ceremonies, funerals, and other life celebrations.

I’m based in Berkshire and happily travel across Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Surrey, and beyond

 

2. Booking Your Ceremony

Your date is secured once I receive:

• A completed booking form, and

• A non-refundable deposit of £250 for Weddings, Vow Renewals and Baby Naming Ceremonies
  or £100 for a Memorial/Celebration Of Life

Until both are received, your date remains available for others to book.

 

3. Payment Terms

• The remaining balance is due no later than 8 weeks before the ceremony.

• Payment details will be provided on your invoice.

• Late payment may result in cancellation of your booking.

Please note - all prices displayed are for 2025 - an annual review of pricing will take place and pricing is subject to change annually.

 

4. Travel & Accommodation

• Travel within Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Surrey and nearby areas is included in your fee (within a 40 mile radius of RG30)

• Additional mileage, parking, tolls, or overnight stays may be added at cost, agreed in advance. (charge for travel beyond a 40 mile radius of RG30 is 50 pence per mile)

• Destination weddings are quoted individually (POA) to include travel and accommodation where needed.

 

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Your deposit is non-refundable as it covers the time and preparation involved in securing your date.

If you cancel:

• More than 8 weeks before the ceremony – you’ll receive a refund of any balance paid (minus deposit).

• Less than 8 weeks before the ceremony – no refund will be given, though I’ll do my best to transfer your booking if possible.
   

If I have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness or emergency), I’ll:

• Try to find a suitable replacement celebrant, or

• Offer a full refund of all fees paid (including deposit).
   

6. Changes & Postponements

If you need to change your date or venue, I’ll do my best to accommodate you. If I’m unavailable for your new date, this will be treated as a cancellation (see above).

 

7. Your Ceremony

• I’ll work with you to create a personalised ceremony script that reflects your story, values, and wishes.

• You’ll have the opportunity to review and approve the script before the day.

• Please ensure you have any required legal marriage paperwork arranged separately with your local registry office (for weddings).

 

8. Conduct & Conditions

• Please ensure your venue is safe, suitable, and aware that you’ve booked an independent celebrant.

• I reserve the right to withdraw services if there are concerns for safety, unlawful activity, or inappropriate behaviour at the event.

 

9. Use of Photos & Testimonials

With your consent, I may use photos or kind words from your ceremony for my

website or social media. You can opt out at any time — just let me know.

 

10. Privacy

All personal information shared with me is treated with care and in line with UK data protection laws (GDPR).

I never share your details with anyone else without your permission.

 

11. Liability

While every care is taken to ensure your ceremony runs smoothly, Soulfully Yours Ceremonies cannot be held responsible for events beyond my control (such as weather, venue issues, or third-party delays).

 

12. Agreement

By paying your deposit, you confirm that you’ve read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
